Paradigm is a literary magazine for Millennials who are sick of politically-infused journalism and literature that sounds pretty but has no purpose. Based on George Orwell’s essay “Why I Write,” Paradigm accomplishes what Orwell hoped to: to make political writing (i.e. writing that motivates people to change their world) into an art form. Paradigm does this by publishing fiction, creative nonfiction, and poetry that are written well and enact change. All of its art tells a meaningful story on its own or responds to writing that does.
